“High-Performance Teambuilding” Award
Charlie Feld’s career had four distinct phases: 1) young rising business technology talent, 2) CIO leader building talent within his organization, 3) leader of the Feld Group focused on improving the effectiveness of individual companies, and 4) leader of the Feld Institute simultaneously growing leaders across organizations. Leaders recognize that nothing is more important to sustained success than a motivated and talented team.
The award focuses on the senior IT leadership team and their ability to grow a sustained, effective organization. Beyond driving business outcomes, key considerations may include: 1) providing training & development opportunities, 2) active mentoring and coaching programs, 3) active promotion and growth of talent, 4) superior retention of talent, 5) succession planning, and 6) assistance in placing senior talent in business roles or outside the company when further growth opportunities do not exist internally.
